The new edition of Viva Technology opens tomorrow at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Until May 25, IncubAlliance Paris-Saclay will be present alongside Université Paris-Saclay and several startups from the Paris-Saclay region, at booth B56.

A major international event dedicated to innovation, tech leaders, and startups, Viva Technology opens its doors tomorrow at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. The IncubAlliance Paris-Saclay team will be there alongside Université Paris-Saclay, the only university in France to have its own booth, as well as four leading engineering schools and founding members: AgroParisTech, CentraleSupélec, École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay, Institut d'Optique Graduate School, Inria, and ONERA, and SATT Paris-Saclay. This is also an opportunity to showcase the technologies of 24 startups supported by these key players in the Paris-Saclay region. Come and meet us at booth B56.

It is therefore grouped around the University of Paris-Saclay, which leads the University Innovation Hub (PUI) of the University of Paris-Saclay, that the key players in the innovation ecosystem of the Paris-Saclay technology cluster will participate in this new edition of Viva Technology. Among them, IncubAlliance Paris-Saclay is delighted to be able to present its support services and 6 start-ups currently or previously supported whose innovations offer opportunities to address the major challenges of our time in the fields of Physics, Health and Sustainable Development.

Physics Theme

CEiSCAT – Currently in pre-incubation Led by Jean-Jacques Greffet, professor at Charles Fabry Laboratory (LCF – Univ. Paris-Saclay, IOGS, CNRS) Within the Nanophotonics group, the CEiSCAT (Cavity Enhanced Interference Scattering) project relies on a cavity-enhanced resonant microscopy technique that detects individual nanoparticles without labeling. This will make it possible to measure their mass and concentration, detect aggregates, and measure affinities. Present on May 22

iUMTEK – Formerly accompanied Founded in 2017 by engineer Ronald Berger-Lefébure in partnership with CEA Paris-Saclay, and based on work carried out within the Physical Chemistry Department (SPC – Univ. Paris-Saclay, CEA), iUMTEK develops cutting-edge instruments. With the ability to detect and quantify all the elements of Mendeleev's periodic table, from samples or even directly within the production process, the proposed technology promises to answer the questions of manufacturers operating in a circular economy context. Present on May 22

POSITHÔT– Formerly accompanied Founded in 2015 by Jean-Michel Rey, a research engineer at the CEA (French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission), and stemming from his fundamental research at CEA Paris-Saclay, POSITHÔT develops services and equipment for non-destructively measuring defect density in materials with sub-micrometer resolution. This technology enables materials analysis and is particularly well-suited to the aerospace and defense sectors. Present on May 25th

Health Theme

Exhalon – Currently in incubation Founded in 2024 through a collaboration between the UVSQ Faculty of Medicine and Foch Hospital, Exhalon has developed real-time breath analysis methods for the rapid and accurate detection of infectious diseases. Exhalon offers the only solution capable of preventing the spread of hospital-acquired infections – more than 2,800 times faster than standard culture analysis (48 hours) and more than 360 times faster than the closest competitor (six hours). Present on May 24th

U-fast – Previously supported and awarded Saclay20 for a pre-incubation program : Start-up co-founded in 2023 by Raindu Adikarigethamel, Asyan Kessi, Simon Revranche, Abdel El.Abded (Lumin) and Dominique Fourmy (LBPA), and resulting from research conducted at Laboratory of Applied Biology and Pharmacology (LBPA – Univ. Paris-Saclay/ENS Paris-Saclay/ CNRS) and the Light, Matter and Interfaces Laboratory (LuMin – Univ. Paris-Saclay, ENS Paris-Saclay, CNRS, CentraleSupélec), U-Fast offers an ultra-fast antibiogram to identify which antibiotic to administer to a patient suffering from an infection. The project originates from the Innovation-Entrepreneurship (FIE) program at the Institut d'Optique Graduate School and is supported by the 503 Entrepreneurial Center. Present on May 25th

Theme: Sustainable Development

AM3L – Currently in incubation Co-founded in 2023 by Hicham Maskrot, a CEA research engineer in the Advanced Materials and Processes Research Service (SRMA – Univ. Paris-Saclay, CEA), and Timothée Delacroix, a Paris-Saclay University alumnus with a PhD from CEA Paris-Saclay, AM3L leverages expertise in innovative materials and processes. It designs, develops, and markets customized solutions using 3D-structured materials. AM3L offers personalized solutions for shock absorption, advanced filtration, and low-carbon energy applications. By combining cutting-edge metal additive manufacturing with advanced surface engineering, AM3L products exhibit enhanced properties thanks to their multi-scale design and controlled porosity. Present on May 24th
