IncubAlliance has a strong ambition for the years to come.

The Board of Directors of IncubAlliance Paris-Saclay, meeting in General Assembly on Tuesday, June 27, approved the major strategic directions put forward by Arielle Santé, CEO of the incubator. This provided an opportunity to reaffirm IncubAlliance's unique positioning and to demonstrate a strong ambition to promote deeptech entrepreneurship in Paris-Saclay.

Supporting high-tech projects in Paris-Saclay, from the pre-creation phase to the growth phase, and leveraging the results of public research through the creation of deeptech start-ups: these have been IncubAlliance's missions since its creation in 1999.« For nearly 25 years, as an incubator for public research, we have been putting our expertise at the service of projects, mainly originating from the laboratories of Paris-Saclay, to turn them into the gems of tomorrow., like startups such as Wandercraft, Quandela or Theranexus. It is this entrepreneurial, 100% deeptech mindset that we want to promote and spread at the heart of our Paris-Saclay ecosystem.», says Arielle Santé, CEO of IncubAlliance.

A new selection committee, balanced between deep tech, entrepreneurship and the Paris-Saclay ecosystem

It is to support this ambition that IncubAlliance has chosen to focus its selection criteria on three fundamental themes: the project, the project leader, and the impact, and to restructure its selection committee.« We wanted this committee to reflect our image: Deeptech and Entrepreneurial. We are delighted that Olivier Fructus, a serial deeptech entrepreneur, is chairing our Selection Committee, alongside renowned deeptech entrepreneurs from Paris-Saclay and the executive leadership of major national and local innovation players. We are all working together to select the best deeptech projects that IncubAlliance will support over the years, thereby increasing the number of startups in our region.. " explains Arielle Santé.

Launchpad programs

From awareness-raising to incubation, IncubAlliance now offers tailor-made pathways for technology project leaders, designed as a launchpad for creating high-potential companies. These programs allow technology project leaders and researchers from Université Paris-Saclay to envision themselves in deeptech entrepreneurship, to challenge, de-risk, and structure their startup projects, and to accelerate their company's growth.« The academic excellence of researchers demands excellence from those who support them in promoting their projects. That's why we are doing everything we can to best support them in this endeavor, adapting with ever-increasing agility to their needs., indicates Arielle Santé.

Always more attentive to the women and men it supports, IncubAlliance has decided to make the duration of support flexible and now offers a modular incubation ranging from 18 months to 5 years.

A widely recognized impact and expertise

It is therefore no surprise that IncubAlliance's impact and expertise are now widely recognized. This is evidenced by the numerous certifications the incubator has received over the years, including labels of excellence such as the European Innovation Council Partners, the Innov'up Incubation program of the Île-de-France region, and the ESA BIC Nord, as well as impact labels such as French Tech Tremplin and the National Network of Greentech Incubators of the Ministry of Ecological Transition. IncubAlliance also relies on two networks of expertise: the European EBN and the French RETIS, which brings together incubators from public research institutions.« We are very proud of these accolades. These labels serve as a testament to the excellence of our support and, therefore, to the quality of the resources that will be made available to the projects that join us. »" says Arielle Santé.
