Transforming a scientific discovery into an innovation for patients is not solely dependent on the quality of the technology. It also requires robust entrepreneurial support, access to the right experts, a deep understanding of clinical and industrial challenges, and a network capable of accelerating key development stages.

It is in this logic that IncubAlliance Paris-Saclay and the Paris Saclay Cancer Cluster formalized, on April 15, 2026, a partnership aimed at strengthening support for deeptech startups in oncology in the Paris-Saclay area.

Two complementary players serving innovation

IncubAlliance Paris-Saclay, a Public Research Incubator, is accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Space. An expert in deeptech entrepreneurship, it is chaired by the University of Paris-Saclay, ranked 13th in the world; its board also includes representatives from the CEA (French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission), CentraleSupélec, and HEC Paris. IncubAlliance Paris-Saclay has been recognized as a key player in the French deeptech ecosystem for over 25 years. It acts as a catalyst between startups, research laboratories, and industry.

The Paris Saclay Cancer Cluster, the first European biocluster dedicated to innovation in oncology, brings together researchers, clinicians, manufacturers, startups, investors and hospital stakeholders to accelerate the transition from scientific discoveries to concrete solutions for patients.

In concrete terms, this partnership will allow startups incubated at IncubAlliance to discover the PSCC's acceleration program, PSCC BOOST, dedicated to innovative oncology projects. In return, projects supported by the PSCC will benefit from IncubAlliance's expertise in deeptech entrepreneurship, project structuring, and startup maturation.

The two organizations will also mobilize their respective networks of experts and develop joint actions, including through events, thematic meetings and communication initiatives aimed at better connecting the deeptech and oncology communities.

With this partnership, IncubAlliance Paris-Saclay and the PSCC wish to create a continuum of support that is more legible, more fluid and more effective for entrepreneurs who are developing the disruptive innovations of tomorrow in oncology.

«This partnership is fully aligned with our mission: to consolidate deeptech startups and connect them to the resources and networks that will enable them to accelerate their development. With the PSCC, we share the conviction that the Paris-Saclay region plays a central role in health innovation.»

Arielle SANTÉ, Managing Director of IncubAlliance Paris-Saclay

« We are delighted to partner with IncubAlliance Paris-Saclay, whose experience in supporting deeptech projects stemming from public research is a valuable asset for oncology entrepreneurs. Together, we want to offer startups across France an enhanced support program at the intersection of entrepreneurship, science, clinical practice, and industry.» Benjamin GAREL, Director General of the Paris Saclay Cancer Cluster

By combining their expertise, IncubAlliance Paris-Saclay and the PSCC are helping to strengthen the region's ability to foster, structure and accelerate deeptech startups capable of transforming innovation in oncology.
